Blue Talent Day
During Belgian Offshore Days, 12-13 March 2025 in Ostend, The Reef organizes the Blue Talent Day. During a unique matchmaking event on Thursday 13th March , we will bring students and companies together around the fascinating world of offshore renewable energy. Students are introduced to innovative companies in the offshore energy sector.
Companies show what they have to offer the talent of tomorrow and make valuable contacts with future employees. In addition, we present an extensive range of training courses for students and professionals in this exciting sector.
PROGRAM 13th March 2025 (subject to changes)
- 8:00 - 10:00 - Bus transfer to Ostend (several pick-up locations)
- 10:00 - 11:30 - Visit to Ostend Science Park (The Reef/Drone Dock, Flanders Maritime Laboratory, eBO Enterprises)
- 11:45 - 12:30 - Lunch
- 12:30 - 13:30 - Transfer to Belgian Offshore Days
- 13:30 - 14:30 - Blue Talent meets industry
- 15:00 - 15:45 - Training for Blue Talent
- 15:45 - 16:30 - Visit to company stands of parcticipating companies & networking
- 16:30 - 18:30 - Bus transfer back to pick-up locations

BOOST YOUR STUDENTS FUTURE CAREER
Are you a teacher or training coordinator of a technically oriented course, with a focus on energy? Do you want to immerse your students in the energy transition at sea in an exciting way and prepare them for an even more exciting career?
During the Blue Talent Day we introduce participants to the numerous career opportunities the energy transition at sea entails and to the various training programs and additional learning modules that exist for this sector. In addition, we bring learners and internship coordinators into contact with HR managers of companies to support them in their search for valuable internships, graduation assignments and jobs.
